Duties & Responsibilities
Job Description
The Logistics Analyst is responsible for stock procurement planning and the reduction of freight cost in relations to sales.
- Setting up monthly planning meetings with Product Marketing to determine optimal stock levels

- Provide feedback on allocation from headoffice
- Planning the procurement of new models
- Placing stock replenishment orders on SAP

- Including procurement of Third-Party Suppliers
- Reducing freight costs annually in line with KPIs
- Tracking and tracing of physical shipments end to end
- Managing Insurance Claims process through the Global Marine Insurance Policy
- Providing information & documentation to insurance on damaged goods
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve Logistics processes
- Relevant export documentation
- Organising and maintaining hard copies and electronic documentation supporting order fulfilment, distribution means and contractual obligations.
- Initiating overcharge/undercharge freight bill claims with carriers and tracks reconciliation of the same per regulatory standards
- Assist Customer Services and Support Department with logistics planning for large tender Roll out
- Perform adhoc logistics functions and assist with Special Projects as required
Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualifications
Supply Chain Management or similar/relevant qualification
Skills
Minimum of 3 years’ experience within similar Logistics position. Knowledge and understanding of general practices, principles and procedures of Logistics / Supply Chain. Excellent knowledge of English language – verbal and written. Experience with MS Office applications – Outlook, Word and Excel
