Duties & Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: 

 

  • Assist with the system integration \ implementation between Point of sales system and other internal systems.
  • Implement and support other internal systems
  • Liaising with 3’rd Party providers & SLA’s
  • Assist with the investigations of data queries, stock take’s, etc.
  • Training: Point of Sale Systems, Basic PC training, etc
  • Reporting: Weekly Monthly Reports – store visits, problem stores reporting on system issues
  • Job Requires travelling between stores
  • Provide computer users with the appropriate IT Technical Support.
  • Demonstrate a strong technical understanding of the hardware, software and systems being supported.
  • Install, configure and/or upgrade PC''s and laptops.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with software or hardware either in the office or remotely.
  • Provide advice and technical guidance to all staff regarding their incidents or requests.
  • Identify, log and resolve technical problems with software applications or network systems.
  • Establishing and maintain strong relationships across teams and with staff / clients

Desired Experience & Qualification

QUALIFICATIONS:

Relevant Bachelor of University graduate or equivalent, preferably in the field of IT or IS management.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  

 

  • Previous Retail and Point of sale experience will be beneficial.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the IT technical field, with desktop support and problem solving experience.
  • Previous IT Management experience
  • Supporting Microsoft products
  • SAP
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Willing to travel
