Objectives:

Responsible for management of all Daimler Cyber Security policies and standards within the DTBSA system environment. To implement a IT security strategy for DTBSA that ensure effective security measures are implemented. To manage the security test process through undertaking scans, to inform responsible persons of requirements, identify risks and ensure that all risk mitigation is implemented within the required timelines.  All tasks to be done in compliance to the Company's Culture Statement, Integrity & Anti Bribery Codes, Conflict of Interest Policy & S.H.E.Q. requirements and to perform delegated S.H.E.Q. tasks and duties & to inform superior about deviations.

Main Tasks:

  • Security Vulnerability Management: Manage vulnerabilities and recommendation of corrective action where applicable with responsible owners.
  • Cyber Security Goals: Manage yearly Cyber Security Goals with responsible business owners and perform the function of ISO for the DTBSA business.
  • IT Risk Assessments: Manage and coordinate the IT Risk assessment process for new applications and infrastructure while managing the risk assessment process for current suppliers.
  • IT Security Awareness: Initiate IT Security campaigns within the DTBSA environment to ensure IT security is seen as vital to the business users and that they understand the IT security processes.
  • Self-development: Take personal responsibility for Learning & Development through a process of assessment, reflection & actioning, including on and/or off the job training, and sharing learnings with team.

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Daimler Security Policy                                                                                    
  • 3 - 5 years IT Security experience
  • Matric/Grade 12
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/Business Administration/Business Information Systems
  • BSC Information Technology
