Duties & Responsibilities
The purpose of IT Security Manager role is to be responsible for the design, implementation and monitoring of security features within the Group in a manner that corresponds to the chosen Group security standards and frameworks. Security services is a strategic and operational role in the organization and will be accountable for the design and delivery of security solutions and processes across the Global Group.

- Manage the Technical security Teams and Outsourced security partners in delivering a secure, risk minimized environment
- Develop and maintain the security systems in a manner that supports the businesses strategic objective.
- Collaborate with auditors and Governance teams to ensure satisfactory audit results and compliance
- Implement programs that drive adherence to the groups chosen security frameworks and legislation (NIST, PCI, POPI Act, GDPR)
- Work with Infrastructure, Architects, Applications, Support, and Development teams to remediate security vulnerabilities and threats and minimize the company exposure to cyber-attacks and security risks
- Implement security training and awareness programs that maintain an acceptable level of user awareness relating to cybersecurity in the Group
- Ad hoc duties as required by management
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Matric
- University Degree
- Security Certifications such as CEH, CISSP is advantageous
- At least 8 years’ IT experience (at a mid to senior level)
- A minimum of 5 years’ IT Security experience (at a mid to senior level)
