ITMaster, a proud member of APSO and a registered Private Employment Agency (PEA) is currently looking for an ICT IP Network Engineer who will be responsible for the Network Environment both on proactive maintenance and 2nd line support in the environment. This is a highly demanding role in a high-pressure environment
Duties & Responsibilities
Job Description:
- Ability to give Tier 2 support to the network
- Maintain Network Configuration and service database
- Back office support – Incident management for failures between core sites
- IP Routing optimization
- Firewall/Security Monitoring and Management
- Regular patching in terms of security new versions and bug fixes
- Network on boarding and LAN Network Integration Support
- Service Desk/Call Centre services and equipment and management
- IP Core and DWDM – Tier 2 Support and 3rd Party Support Escalation requirements
- Problem Management
- Root Cause Analysis – investigations
- Service Delivery Management
- Network Optimization
- Network Utilization reporting
- Daily/Weekly and Monthly Reporting on core interfacing services and equipment
- 3rd Party engagement/escalation/management
