Description
Upmarket fittings home accessories decor supllier to the building, decor, development industries is looking for an internal sales rep to service their wak in clients in the showroom,assisting telephonic clients, liasing with the warhouse, assisting external sales reps with quotes etc. Must be strong on the computer (word excel and powerpoint and be customer focused. Must be well presented, friendly and confident. Fluent in English and Afrikaans is ideal.
Duties & Responsibilities
Process orders accurately and timeously
Attend to clients’ needs promptly and in a polite manner
Prioritise what is important and offer alternatives where there is a stock shortage.
Deal with customer payments via credit card
Liaise with Admin department for EFT payments.
Be able to raise Quotes, Orders, picking slips, invoices and Credits notes in ERP software.
Attend Weekly sales meetings where possible, and to take Responsibility for any Tasks allocated to you
Must have a positive attitude and be a people’s person.
Be able to work with customers to find out what they want, create solutions through collaboration, on your own or with the team, to ensure a smooth sales process
Participate in Training- Hands on and through Online learning channel to understand our products extensively and to keep up with product development.
Thorough understanding of the Showroom layout, and what is inside every unit.
Be able to deal with Rude or Disrespectful Customers
Needs to be able to present, describe and present our products in a professional manner explaining the many different features and applications
Desired Experience & Qualification
Proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Internal sales from a similar background (technical - aimed at Construction/Decor industry)
Package & Remuneration
