Description

St David’s is a Marist, Catholic, Independent School for boys of all faiths. We cater for boys from Grade 00 to Grade 12 and offer weekly boarding in the College on our Inanda Campus. We currently offer Grade 8 on our Alexandra Campus, and this will expand to Grade 9 in 2024.

St David’s Marist Inanda (Advancement Department) seeks to appoint an experienced and dynamic creative professional into the following position:

Responsibilities

The scope of the position includes, to:

Create visually compelling designs for various marketing collateral, including brochures, posters, banners, and flyers.
Design eye-catching digital assets for social media campaigns, website banners, email newsletters, and digital advertising.
Ensure consistency in visual identity and brand guidelines across all design materials.
Provide design support for internal documents, presentations, and event signage.
Develop engaging and informative content for our website, social media channels, and email marketing campaigns.
Create multimedia content such as videos, infographics, and animations to enhance online presence and storytelling.
Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute creative ideas for digital content.
Optimise content for search engines and ensure it aligns with our brand voice and messaging.

The ideal candidate should possess the following capabilities and experience:

Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in graphic design and digital content creation.
Proficiency in design software and tools.
Demonstrated ability to create visually appealing designs that align with brand guidelines.
Experience in creating engaging and shareable digital content for various platforms.
Excellent communication skills to understand project requirements and collaborate effectively.
Flexibility to work on-site at the St David’s Marist Inanda campus as required and negotiated.

Relevant experience and client references (educational experience would be an advantage but is not a prerequisite).
Overview of services offered, highlighting specific graphic design and digital content creation expertise.

Proposed pricing structure, including rates for on-site work and event support.
Any additional value-added services or unique selling propositions.
