Our Client based in Midrand is looking for an experienced Import Merchandiser.

• Developing, negotiating and sourcing of new products within an eager team of merchandisers
• Researching local and international trends through store visits, trade fairs and sourcing
• Liaising and negotiating with customers and suppliers
• Travelling overseas to identify trends and select suitable products if required by the company
• Analysis of orders including monitoring of quality control specifications
• Maintaining of the company’s standard operating procedures
• Supply chain responsibilities, including order tracking and admin
• Strict Adherence to sales and profitability KPI’s

• Import Merchandising experience is essential!
• Natural sales and numeracy ability
• High level of attention to detail & urgency
• Assertive with strong administrative skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills (must take a LEAD meetings and INITIATE sales)
• Problem solving, lateral thinker and team player
• Ability to build, maintain and enhance superior client relationships
• University degree
• Min. of 1 Year Sales / Import Merchandiser Experience (Junior)
• Min. of 3 Years Sales / Import Merchandiser Experience (Mid-Weight)
