Duties & Responsibilities
- Keep abreast of changes in legislation and ensure compliance to BCEA, COIDA, LRA, EEA, OHSA, BBBEE and SDA
- Lead and oversee the day to day operations of the HR department
- Organizational development
- Develop and / or implement policies and procedures
- Talent Management
- Succession Planning
- Recognize talent – coaching and training
- Provide strategic direction and specialist advice to management on all HR dynamics
- Responsible for regular HR reporting
- Training and development
- Industrial relations
- BBBEE
- Employment Equity
- Oversee payroll
- Skills development
- CCMA representation
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience
- HR Management or an Industrial Psychology Degree.
- Strong management and leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent track record dealing with the CCMA / Labour Court
- Willing to travel when necessary
- Fluent in English and at least 1 African Language (Zulu, Xhosa or Sepedi).
- Strong business and HR acumen
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Critical thinker
- Self-motivated
