Description
A challenging position has become available within our client's HR team. They are looking for a HR Manager to be based at their SA branch.
The successful candidate will be based at the Head Office based on the East Rand
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities (but not limited too):
- Investigate all incidents that happen in the area and/or personnel in charge.
- Ensure liasion with Department head/ Shop Incharge/ Supervisor/ Workers for implementing different policies and practices, taking views and sharing the same with appropriate authority
- Develop employee relations through regular meeting with Shop In-charge/ Supervisor/ Workers. Conducting workers connect meeting for workers
- Participate in meetings with representative of permanent workmen and union people for contractual workmen for settlement of issues
- Coordinate and administer all kind of training and development programme for plant people.</li>
- Monitor and highlight issues which are coming from workers; connect and find out solution and follow up till implementation
- Ensure recruitment and selection of employees/ workers (sourcing, interviewing, arranging and assisting for final interview process, preparation of salary fitment, negotiation for salary finalization, issuance of offer letter/appointment letter, completion of joining formalities, preparation, and circulation of induction schedule for plant level staff/ workers
- Coordinate plant PMS activities
- Long Term Wage Negotiation
- Payroll Processing
- HR Statutory Compliance
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum Requirements:
- Masters and/or B.Com degree in Human Resources Management or Industrial Relations
- Sound knowledge of labor laws of South Africa and Statutory Compliance
- 10 - 15 years' experience within a management HR role
Package & Remuneration
Salary on offer: R 48 000 - R 56 000 CTC per month
