Duties & Responsibilities
- Review Policies and Procedures and implement accordingly
- Update and deliver Induction programs
- Maintain and improve the Performance Management system including develop KPI’s and train Managers on performance appraisals
- Organise Management training on building High Performing Teams
- Advise management on career development plans
- Maintain the Learnership program
- Ensure transfer of skills from learnership delegates
- Implement Employee Wellness Program
- Responsible for monthly HR Metrics reporting
- Employment Equity committee formation and meetings
- Complete Employment Equity submissions timeously
- Skills committee formation and meetings
- Responsible for Workplace Skills Plan submissions
- Responsible for Payroll inputs
- Custodian of the Sage 300 system
- Leave balance maintenance (Immediately flag high leave balance)
- Conduct Random drug testing
- Audit and monitor HR processes and structures to support business needs
- Oversee and support the department towards achieving operational objectives through the execution of various project based work
- Provide input into the practical roll out and implementation of various projects
Experience, Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 5 years solid HR experience with exposure to managing people
- HR Diploma or degree
