Duties & Responsibilities

  • Review Policies and Procedures and implement accordingly
  • Update and deliver Induction programs
  • Maintain and improve the Performance Management system including develop KPI’s and train Managers on performance appraisals
  • Organise Management training on building High Performing Teams
  • Advise management on career development plans
  • Maintain the Learnership program
  • Ensure transfer of skills from learnership delegates
  • Implement Employee Wellness Program
  • Responsible for monthly HR Metrics reporting
  • Employment Equity committee formation and meetings
  • Complete Employment Equity submissions timeously
  • Skills committee formation and meetings
  • Responsible for Workplace Skills Plan submissions
  • Responsible for Payroll inputs
  • Custodian of the Sage 300 system
  • Leave balance maintenance (Immediately flag high leave balance)
  • Conduct Random drug testing
  • Audit and monitor HR processes and structures to support business needs
  • Oversee and support the department towards achieving operational objectives through the execution of various project based work
  • Provide input into the practical roll out and implementation of various projects

Experience, Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 5 years solid HR experience with exposure to managing people
  • HR Diploma or degree
