Duties & Responsibilities

This person will report to the Managing Director.
Main responsibilities will include:
HUMAN RESOURCES:
Running the monthly payroll for Office staff.
Finalising the monthly salary sheets for the outsourced Warehouse staff.
Will deal with disciplinary matters across the company – Some matters will be dealt
with an external Labour Consultant and candidate will be responsible for managing
these and liaising with Consultant.
Will represent the Company at any CCMA matters.
Will form part of the Transformation Committee and assist with monthly uploads
and the BEE Audit.
Will deal with all payroll matters in the company annual Audit.
Will be involved in staff wellness initiatives.
Putting together the annual budget for salaries and office expenses.
Write out and implement company policies.
Writing out and storage of all employment contracts and personnel files.
Responsible for monthly salaries for cross-border staff.
Responsible for all EMP201 and EMP501 submissions.
Responsible for annual WSP/ATR submissions.
Responsible for annual WCA submissions and payment.
Responsible for annual Employment Equity submission.
Updating and monitoring all leave applications.
Assist in the monthly staff sales and manage all staff salary deductions.
New staff induction and giving access to various portals.
OFFICE MANAGER:
Ordering of all office groceries, cleaning supplies and paper supplies.
Responsible for any office renovations.
Ordering of any furniture requirements.
Maintain monthly budget for all expenses.
Assist with all flight, car and accommodation bookings for staff.
Form part of the Health and Safety Committee and assist with Covid-19 compliance.
Keep the vending machine filled up and responsible for the purchasing of stock for the vending machine.
Responsible for the planning of the annual staff year-end party.
Will arrange all staff initiatives and lunches.
