Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- have the innate ability to connect with children.
- be passionate about History and have an active interest in adopting innovative approaches to the teaching of the subject.
- have experience of teaching the IEB History curriculum to Grade 12 level – this is a minimum requirement of this senior position. Experience as an IEB sub-examiner of Matric final examinations will be an added advantage.
- have excellent organisational and communication skills.
- embrace technology to significantly enhance the learning experience.
- be willing to participate fully in the life of the school and in extra-curricular activities.
