Description
A fast growing cosmetics company is seeking a qualified Financial Professional to join their Executive Team as the Head of Finance & Operations and will ultimately play a 2IC role to the CEO. The successful candidate's mission will be to support the company’s growth ambitions, with a focus on the implementation and execution of the company's strategic plans and goals.
The role will support the CEO from a finance and operational point of view, ensuring that the company maintains a healthy grip on cash flow while maximising its ability to grow and scale its operations.
Candidates that have experience in the manufacturing and distribution of consumer products would be a good fit for the role.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Management of the group finance function which includes reporting, budgets, tax, regulatory and governance and Group department functions such as Internal Audit and HR.
- Work closely and oversee the company's department managers in order to provide actionable reporting that enables business decisions and to meet financial and strategic goals.
- Perform analyses to provide insights into areas of risk and opportunity to influence department decisions.
- Management of working capital and cash flow requirements for growth.
- Work closely with the board of directors, shareholders and the rest of the Executive team to ensure that the company is aligned with, and executing on the overall strategy.
- Work closely with the manufacturing department managers to ensure that the operational capacity and delivery of shipping deadlines are executed and planned well in advance.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles as a minimum.
- Registered CA(SA) would be beneficial.
- 3 - 5 years experience in a Financial & Operational role.
- Ability to execute on strategies and goals.
Package & Remuneration
- R750 000 - R950 000 p/a
- Growth in salary as the company grows
