A financial services organization that is a household reputable name in South Africa, is looking for a Head of Cyber Security to join their organization.
Duties & Responsibilities
Description:
The role requires a dynamic individual who will be responsible to conceptualize, research, design, deploy, operate, monitor and/or maintain cybersecurity solutions and systems for the protection of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) assets.
Education:
- Minimum BSc Honours Degree
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience
- Linux and Windows Operating Systems including Virtual Machines.
- Data backup management, business continuity and disaster recovery; technical leadership of information and cyber security projects.
- Cybersecurity certifications such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH, Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Network Security+, Firewall Related Certifications, Certified Security Analyst (CSA), Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) will be advantageous.
- Advanced knowledge of computer security, web security, infrastructure security, database security, wired and wireless network security, and applications security.
- Knowledge of different cyber security frameworks such as NIST and/or ISO27001
