Description
An opportunity has arisen for a Group Production Manager in the Durban Region. Our client, operating in the shoe manufacturing industry requires the knowledge and expertise of a Group Production Manager to manage production across various sites.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage the various site managers to ensure optimum productivity and efficiency.
- Manage the processing of customer orders in relation to capacity which includes the availability of machinery, labour, raw materials and tools to meet required delivery dates.
- Set production targets and ensuring production targets are met. / work orders for each factory.
- Analyse data to monitor demand for raw material and finished goods.
- Ensure that quality standards are met.
- Liaise with relevant managers
- Cost management of products and assist senior management with new product costings models.

Desired Experience & Qualification
- Relevant Degree in Operations, Production or Supply Chain Management is Advantageous
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Production Manager
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Valid driver’s licence and own transport
