An exciting opportunity for qualifying individuals. Senwes, the leading agricultural company in South Africa with a rich and proud history which extends over a period of 112 years is seeking the services of a dynamic Group Fleet Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Research the fleet environment: Benchmark against best practices
* Develop fleet strategy for each company with the Group
* Develop policies and internal control for each company with the Group
* Responsible for Procurement of Group Fleet Items
* Procure fleet items: Get quotes and negotiate with suppliers/ dealers
* Develop procurement plan and budget: Consult with all divisions/ companies
* Monitor maintenance and running cost on fleet items
* Responsible for Company Car Administration (C-Scheme)
* Sign off insurance claims: Receive letter of agreement
* Manage client services: Handle queries and client needs
* Do monthly analysis of deviations on the budget and effectively and communicate with department
* Performance Management: Determine the department's business objectives for personnel.
Desired Experience & Qualification
* At least 5 years relevant fleet management experience
* Candidates with relevant post-matric qualification in logistics or fleet management will receive preference
* Basic knowledge of accounting principles
