Situated in Sandton, St David’s is a Catholic, Independent Day School for boys of all faiths, from Grade 00 to Grade 12.
Established in 1941, St David’s Marist Inanda forms part of the Marist educational community which comprises 5 Marist Schools in South Africa and educational institutions in over 75 countries worldwide. St David’s Marist Inanda seeks to appoint a dynamic experienced Educator in the following position in the Preparatory School:
Responsibilities
From January 2024.
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Display an understanding of the Catholic ethos and Marist values of the school.
- Be appropriately qualified with the necessary Degree and professional qualifications and must be SACE registered.
- Display a genuine passion for, and an in-depth understanding of teaching Grade 00 boys.
- Experience in teaching Grade 00 and an understanding or previous application of differentiated learning pedagogies will be distinct advantages.
- Have a proven record of excellence in teaching in the Foundation Phase which attests to the applicant’s passion, innovation and vibrancy for teaching in this phase.
- Work and collaborate within a dynamic team.
- Display high levels of professionalism and commitment.
- Be dedicated, self-motivated, flexible, organized, energetic and reliable.
- Be willing and able to contribute to the extra-curricular programme of the school.
- Possess appropriate computer skills and display a willingness to use technology in their teaching methodology.
