Rallim Modern Learning Environment, an exciting new private school situated on Berkshire Boulevard, Sunningdale, in the Western Cape, is seeking to employ the following full-time educators to join a talented and creative community in January 2024.

Preparatory Faculty

Responsibilities

Preparatory Faculty

  • Intermediate Phase educator
  • Teaching assistant
  • Art educator
  • Music educator
  • Physical Education (PE) educator

Minimum Requirements

  • Relevant teaching qualification recognised by SAQA
  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ teaching experience
  • Valid SACE certificate
  • Technologically literate. Experience as an Apple teacher will serve as an added advantage.

General Responsibilities

  • Design a high-quality, progressively oriented programme for students, fostering a nurturing and child-centred environment which inspires them to learn critically and creatively
  • Incorporate school values into daily teaching
  • Commitment to extra-curricular activities and events
  • Implement positive discipline techniques and a willingness to embrace the character-building programmes adopted at Rallim
  • Carry out other reasonable duties within the responsibilities of the post and undertake training as required
  • Complete other duties assigned by the Head of the school

Terms and Conditions

  • Police clearance record, sexual offenders’ register clearance, and a child protection register clearance (< 6 months old) from the Republic of South Africa
  • Certified copy of ID or passport
  • Valid work permit for non-RSA citizens
  • Certified copies of your qualifications and SAQA evaluation report for international qualifications
  • SARS proof of registration/provisional tax reference number and banking details
