You will need to translate the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce the visual elements of applications. You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how applications look as well as how they work.

• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, and build applications with a focus on user experience and usability
• Develop new user-facing features, and translate visual designs into HTML, CSS and JavaScript websites, apps, gaming and platforms (such as Lemonade and Pineapple)
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
• Collaborate with the other team members and stakeholders
• Utilise best practices to implement the frontend of web applications

• 3+ years’ experience working as a Frontend Developer.
• Experience working within a technology studio would be advantageous
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any other technical discipline/equivalent working experience

• Proficient understanding of web mark-up, including HTML5 and CSS3
• Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
• Good understanding and knowledge of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as AngularJS and ReactJS etc.
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates and AJAX
• Experience with graphic design applications such as Adobe Illustrator and Sketch
• Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on imagery
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
• Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that applications will adhere to them

Shortlisted candidates will be required to undergo a practice test to assess your knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
