The bank's Business Systems and Technology Department (BSTD) is continuously evolving and optimising the IT landscape. For the Core and Internet Banking Solutions programme recently launched, the bankhas a requirement for an Internet Banking (FCDB) Technical Specialist to provide technical support services whilst the upgrade is underway. The Internet Banking (FCDB) Technical Specialist will be employed in The Enterprise System Division, a division within the Business and Technology Systems Department.

The main purpose of this position is provide technical support services within the Enterprise Systems Division. The resource must be able to analyse and implement solutions to incidents and requests logged by their client. The resource will be required to perform the following duties:

• Develop and implement enhancements in FCDB using FC Extensibility Layer.
• Understand functional requirements and articulate them into technical solutions. This include also non-Extensibility Layer incidents and SRs in the Flexcube production solution.
• Resolve outstanding technical issues on FCDB.
• Work with OFSS in resolving outstanding and new issues.
• Raise SRs with OEM as and when needed.
• Find alternative technical solutions for issues with OFSS.
• Improve the service received from OFSS by improving the quality of requirements sent to OFSS and  managing quality of solutions received back from OFSS.
• Document a knowledge transfer plan to internal Flexcube support team and execute.
• Develop queries to be used for OBIEE report development.
• Enable online reporting on FCDB.
• Implementation of Strong Authentication using RSA Secure ID.
• Enable mobile applications for FCDB.
• Train SARB existing staff on FCDB as well as to build in–house capability.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key performance
areas:

•  Maintenance and Support on the current Flexcube Internet Banking (FCDB) Platform, taking into consideration its integration points to other applications.
•  Reporting on incidents and SR’s assigned to the resource.

To be considered for this position, candidates must have:

Qualifications/ Certification:
 a Diploma in IT, or an equivalent qualification;

Experience:

• 6-8 years’ experience in Flexcube Internet (FCDB) Banking support.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in PL/SQL programming and application server / WebLogic administration;
• Extensive knowledge of Java Development.
• Extensive knowledge of Integration platforms.
• Experience in working in an Agile environment

The following will be an added advantage:

•  Experience in OBDX (Oracle Digital Banking Experience).
