Description
Our client based in Midrand is seeking a CA(SA) or CIMA qualified candidate who is able to start at short notice. You will have a minimum of 5 years post articles experience. Ideally your sector experience will be in Supply Chain (FMCG), Logistics or Manufacturing.
- CA(SA) or CIMA qualification (CIMA must be completed)
- At least 5 years’ experience in a financial accountant role
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Industry experience FMCG, Warehousing/Cold storage, Manufacturing, Logistics
- Experience in Warehouse Management System (WMS) will be an advantage
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Preparation of monthly management accounts to the highest standards and within strict timelines
- Weekly reporting: Preparation of weekly management accounts to the highest standards and within strict timelines
- Regulatory Submissions: Prepare and submit all regulatory documentation on a timely basis
- Budgets: Manage process and prepare zero-based budgets annually
- Year End and Annual/Interim Audits: Participate in the management and planning (timelines / deadlines) of the annual year end audit process
- Accounts Payable: Revision and constant review of system to ensure documents are received appropriately and timeously
- Accounts Receivable: Take control of outstanding queries and ensure that they are satisfactorily resolved timeously
- Payment Verification: Ensure that all payments made have been fully checked and authorised
- Operational: Stock control processes, Weekly operational reporting on business KPI's, Warehouse Management System (WMS) lead, linked with IT Stock control processes
