Are you an experienced and qualified Financial Manager? Do you enjoy nature and outdoor living?

You might like to be the Financial Manager at a Luxury Safari Lodge located in the Kruger National Park where you will prepare financial and management reports, manage budgets, comply with legal and statutory compliance, financial analysis, forecasting, and controls.

This position will report to the General Manager.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Matric / Grade 12 equivalent.
• Tertiary qualification in Finance and Accounting or similar major.
• Professional registration
• At least 8 years accounting experience
• Experience in Payroll, Apex, Pastel, and Pluspoint
• Previous experience in hospitality is preferred
• Clear criminal record

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Daily financial operations, including but not limited to preparation of financial reports, budgets, forecast, and controls.
• Management and implementation of financial processes and policies in line with the lodge’s strategic goals and relevant legislation.
• Management of Payroll
• Management of all financial aspects and personnel, while reporting to the General Manager

For you to be successful, you should be an accurate and focussed accounting practitioner with a proven background in being efficient, and continuously improving on existing systems.
