Description
We are looking for a Finance Manager provide and interpret financial information for the business and its subsidiaries in Hillcrest. This position will be required to monitor and interpret cash flow and predict future trends. Providing Directors with guidance and advice on future financial plans
The successful candidate must be well-versed in all aspects of financial management.Preference will be given to candidates from the hospitality or similar environment.

Duties & Responsibilities
Minimum Requirements:
- BCom Accounting (Hons will be advantageous), or similar qualification. Articles completed
- Minimum 5-7 years’ experience as a Finance Manager and experience within diverse financial operations.
- Strong financial and accounting background, including an understanding of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management and general finance and budgeting.
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software

Job Functions:
- Drive the company’s financial planning
- Take full ownership of the finance and compliance function of the company.
- Oversee AHC’s fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing.
- Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations
- Supervise finance personnel
- Manage vendor relationships
- Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports
- Oversee and review daily accounting processing.
- Ensure monthly submission of VAT and PAYE is done accurately and timeously; VAT supervision
- Prepare or direct preparation of financial of financial statements, business activity reports, financial position forecasts, annual budgets, and/or any other reports as may be required.
- Review financial reports for ways to reduce costs.
- Provide leadership and coordination in the administrative, business planning, accounting and budgeting efforts of the company.
- Drive the process with the external auditors and financial institutions.
- Supervising all legal affairs of the company, i.e. liquor license, SLA agreements, court cases, land purchase agreements, etc.
- Ensure compliance with the law and regulations and company’s policies; assure legal and regulatory documents are filled.
- Banking relations beyond day to day contacts
- Safeguarding all legal company documents and ensuring their completeness
