A company based in Irene,Centurion is looking for a Financial Admin Clerk to join their team

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Receive and verify invoices for goods and services from various departments
  • Prepare requisitions for payment of invoices received
  • Obtain authorization for payment
  • Ensure accurate payments
  • Ensure correct allocations of expenses in line with the budget
  • Ensure accurate daily and weekly forecasts
  • Ensure accurate financial input
  • Complete credit applications when requested
  • Liaise with internal departments for their financial requirements
  • Creditors’ liaison with suppliers
  • Follow up on outstanding invoices and payment requests
  • Collect and enter data for various financial spreadsheets
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested
  • Adhere to internal control systems for financial department
  • Control company stationery

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Working knowledge in Finance department
  • Experience in an administrative finance environment
  • Good understanding of financial procedures and Basic Knowledge of Finance
  • Grade 12
  • Attributes: Accurate, deadline driven, diligent and fast and efficient processing skills
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Working knowledge of computerised Accounting packages
  • (Knowledge of Accountmate will be an advantage)
  • Work independently
  • Work under pressure
  • Valid driver’s license

Package & Remuneration

R 12 500 CTC pm
