Description
Duties & Responsibilities
- Financial accounts, budgets, preparation for audit
- Management of debtors, creditors
- Financial reporting
- Financial planning
- Management reports
- All tax aspects (VAT, EMP, Provisional tax)
- Cash flow and projections
- Legal and fiduciary compliance
- Export logistics management
- Plan and coordinate administrative procedures and systems
- Ensure the smooth and adequate flow of information within the organization to facilitate other business operations
- Manage schedules and deadlines
- Ensure operations adhere to policies and regulations
- Keep abreast with all organizational changes and business developments
Desired Experience & Qualification
- B. Comm / B. Acc degree or relevant tertiary qualification (Agricultural Economics/Logistics)
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position
- Excellent knowledge of financial management concepts, principles and procedures
- Proven understanding of relevant legislation
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Strong analytical skills and a sound grasp of systems
- Sound interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team and also across functions
- Works well under pressure
- Self-driven and innovative
