Description
Facilities managers are responsible for the maintenance and services the buildings to ensure that they meet the needs of the organisation and its employees
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage contracts with service providers
- Supervising multi-disciplinary teams
- Ensuring that basic facilities are well-maintained
- Managing budgets and ensuring cost-effectiveness
- Allocating and managing space between buildings
- Ensuring that facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards
- Advising the businesses on energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Manage and plan relevant projects, renovations, refurbishments, ect
- Advise in the decisions regarding leases
- Prepare reports and recommendations.
- Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards.
- Conduct building inspections
- Mentor and manage direct reports
- Stimulates and motivates
