RJ Connect is a R50million SME. It is an importer and distributor of products into Africa from various countries such as Taiwan, Germany and America. Being an industrial communication company, specialize in support, implementation and provision of network communication backbones for different and major industrial plants in industries such as Power, Rail, Mining, Marine, CCTV. This position is critical in the promotion, service, support and growth of sales and support in the POWER industry.

 

Ideally the applicant needs to have the ability and skills to work proactively and independently in an ever-growing and changing fast-paced  office  and customer  sales environment where  product knowledge, service and delivery  information is constantly moving  and changing but of critical relevance to customer  supply and service as well as target-driven sales targets to achieve. The successful applicant will work closely with the sales manager together with our dynamic sales team

Duties & Responsibilities

  • To provide quality customer business service, support and growth within the industry while promoting company vision, core values and achieve beyond the scope of reaching your set targets in order to bring dynamic energy and innovation to the company, its customers and its industry.
  • Including but not limited to:
  • Achieve sales targets and weekly meeting requirements.
  • Efficient preparation and distribution of quotations and invoices.
  • Follow-up of quotes on a weekly basis
  • Liaising with customers daily.
  • Database capture and updates (SAP Bl)
  • Research and source new customers, tenders and business.
  • Attend tender meetings prepared with in-depth understanding of the terms, applications and services required.
  •  Attend shows and promotional campaigns to further promote and expand the customer and company's customer base, supply, service and support.
  • Provide support solutions and assistance towards the smooth running of sales, administration,
  • preparation and successfully achievement of targets.
  • Assist your sales team in order to promote business, achieve targets and provide excellent customer service and support.

Desired Experience & Qualification

EDUCATION / COMPUTER PACKAGES:

  • Matric Certificate
  • MS Office
  • Diploma or N+
  • BA Diploma in Communications and or Technical Sales and Support
  • SAP (BI)
     

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 5 years' working experience in sales support and or within a similar industry.
  • Excellent communication skills written and spoken (English) in all mediums.
  • S.A. Citizen with valid I.D.
  • Open to all Non-AA/EE Applicants
  • Age: 32 to 40 years
  • Own car and valid Driver's License
  • Own a cell phone
  • Minimum qualification level: Diploma or N+
  • Live within 50 minutes travelling-time to the office premises in Randburg
  • Working knowledge and experience in MS Office and Outlook, presentation skills.
  • BA Diploma in Communications and or Technical sales and support

 

Skills, Experience and Attributes Required

  • 4 Years' external successful sales record, experience in industrial automation industry environment.
  • interest and some experience in the industrial communications, wireless ethernet communications and
  • other technical aspects of this environment.
  • Computer/IT/Networking background.
  • Previous experience in the "Services" business.
  • Confident, professional communication skills both in person and written.
  • Experienced in communications both online, in person and digitally electronically.
  • Afrikaans and African languages beneficial for customer communications.
  • Willing and able to travel.
  • Sound understanding of Industrial solution, industrial computing, serial connectivity, IP surveillance and
  • remote Automation.
  • Positive attitude, always willing to learn more, highly motivated self-starter and team player.
  • Experience in dealing with project requirement contracts, billing, costing models and schedules.

  • Customer service and target driven.

25K Basic Salary + Commission
