Duties & Responsibilities

Our client (marketing automation and sales execution platform) is seeking an energetic Enterprise Business Development Manager who has got the drive and passion of building profitable enterprises from ground up in South Africa and then expanding into Africa. This position is an integral part of the new business sales team and initiates the relationship between client and prospective customers.  The ideal candidate for this role is highly motivated, self-starter, able to identify and develop leads and opportunities from multiple sources including prospect lists, social selling, and individual research.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience)  in business, marketing and sales or related field of study
  • Digital marketing certifications will be an advantage
  • 4+ years of experience of selling Software Products in one or more of following spaces: CRM, ERP, Sales Automation, Marketing Automation, Business Process Automation to Senior Management/Executive Management level
  • Strong presentation and communication skills (verbal, written, and active listening)
  • Experience of selling software as a service ( SaaS) is essential
  • Strong sales skills including business justification, negotiation and closing.
