A company in Cape Town is looking for an Engineering Programmer.
Duties & Responsibilities
Engineering Resource who will drive automation projects which entails PLC programming, panel building and design, electrical wiring and electrical component selection. Responsible for the continual improvement of all existing machine control systems including PLC code and hardware. Responsible for control system design and coding of new machines or systems. Technical Assistance to maintenance team during breakdowns with regards to PLC programming or electrical component failure. Regular involvement with idea generation and problem solving sessions with the aim to improve production throughput, reduce headcount and waste and maintain quality
Desired Experience & Qualification
Desired Qualification: B.Eng Mechatronics
Desired Work Experience: 2 Years as a PLC Programmer in the Automation Industry.
