Description
A prestigious Investment Company is currently looking for an Employee Benefits Consultant to consult to both Trustee boards of standalone funds and also management committees of participating employers in umbrella funds.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Taking the full responsibility for consulting services on a portfolio of participating employers and stand-alone retirement funds
- Reviewing current processes and initiating ways to improve and enhance efficiency in processes
- Maintenance and ongoing servicing of existing business as the lead relationship manager for the assigned portfolio of clients
- Facilitate committee meetings for to present the agenda and record discussions in order to prepare minutes
- Analyse the participating Employer's or Fund's position and any issues pertinent thereto, and assess any new legislative developments / best practices that need to be included
- Prepare investment return summaries and collate to present in the Committee agenda pack
- Promote and support new business initiatives for the team
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Bachelors' degree (with 3-5 years of EB Consulting experience)
- 5-10 years experience in a EB Consulting environment (without a degree)
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) - Compulsory
- FAIS Accreditation - Compulsory
- Customer focused, results driven and innovative
- Project management and organisational skills
