Description
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric or National Technical Certificate 3
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in the Automotive Industry with strong emphasis on Industrial Automation
- Tertiary Qualification in Electrical (Trade Test) with Wireman’s license
- Valid code 8 driver’s license
- Own transport essential
- Must be willing to travel and work away from home
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Formulate production programs – Control / Plan
- Achieve targets and ensure that the budgeting guidelines are met
- Schedule work throughout plant / site
- Manage general multi-projects
- Work with clients and maintain relationships
- Order raw materials / components for plant equipment and labour utilisation
- Set delivery schedules
- Manage the Electrical Engineering team
- Adhere to Health and Safety requirements
- Adhere to ISO standards
- Adhere to any other instruction given by the Electrical Manager
KNOWLEDGE:
- Industrial Automation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Minimum of 2 – 3 years Supervisory and Project Management experience
- Knowledge of Quality Control Plans
- Knowledge of E-Plan Electrical Designs
- Knowledge of OHSA Act
