Duties & Responsibilities
- Accurate preparation and completion of monthly payrolls
- Completion of month-end reports
- Maintaining personnel files in accordance with audit standards
- Attending to payroll queries in a professional manner
- Administering payroll verifications and audits
- Ad hoc duties as assigned by management from time to time
- General payroll administration
- Active participation in the continuous workplace improvement program
- Adhere to Astral's ethics policy
- Maintaining and implementing 20 Keys principles
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Matric
- A tertiary qualification or at least 3 years' experience in a similar environment
- Extensive Microsoft Excel knowledge and experience
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
- Excellent administration skills and problem solving skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to service excellence
- Strong administrative, accurate record keeping and time management skills
- Well developed interpersonal and communication skills and must be fully bilingual
- Must be prepared to work overtime when necessary
- It is essential that the successful candidate be self- motivated with the ability to meet strict deadlines
