Description
Our client, a leader in the property finance sector, seeks to employ an experienced and dynamic Graphic Designer to be based in Durban.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric Certificate
- Complete Diploma in Graphic Design or relevant Tertiary Qualification
- 3-5 years industry experience in DTP – using Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Strong organisational skills
- Time management skills
- Strong communication skills; ability to interact at various levels

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate would be required, but not limited to; form part of the team responsible for creating and rolling out marketing elements in line with the brand purpose, value and vision.
- Interpret and give visual identity to the communicated idea, creating relevant communication materials
- Ensuring a complete understanding of the client brief, evaluating and preparing project deliverables and following up on set quality standards
- Co-ordinate planning to ensure deadlines are met
- Gathering existing materials and working with with designers and writers to create new artwork or text
- Producing graphics such as diagrams, charts and tables; producing and editing PDF application forms, policy documents and brochures, ensuring an ability to integrate interactive functionality
- Design and produce simple digital materials: social media images, GIF's, website banners, newsletter and email templates etc. within the company and usability standards
- Use of electronic publishing technologies; Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) to convert documents to internet-ready format
