Description
REQUIREMENTS:
- No criminal record
- SA Citizen
- Fluent in English
- Matric or equivalent
- Valid code 14 /EC Drivers license
- Must have a valid PrDP,
- Must be medical fit
- Must understand English (Written & practical)
- A minimum of 3 years working experience in a similar function and super link experience
- Self-disciplined and quality driven
- Good Interpersonal and Communication skills
- Must be able & willing to work under pressure
- Must be able & willing to work overtime when required
- MUST have own transport
- Successfully pass an assessment test
DUTIES:
The company driver is responsible for conveying materials, equipment, and staff of the organization to the areas where they are required.
- To deliver and collect scaffold to and from sites with Company Trucks.
- To transport labour crews to and from sites with Company LDV’s and Quantum.
- To assist in general packing and stacking of scaffold in yard.
- When delivering or collecting material driver need to make sure that all documentation is correct filled in and correctly signed.
- Driver need to count and verify the material being loaded or off loaded to and from the truck.
- As a driver, you need to adhere to follow procedure regarding offloading of trucks and ensure that all documents are filled in correctly.
- When driver do not have any deliveries or collections to do, he need to sort, pack and stack the stock in the yard and assist with all general tasks assigned to him daily.
- This position originates from the yard of SA Scaffold Group and requires that the driver will be on the road most of the times. It also requires from time to time that he will have to leave early or might return late to the yard.
- Keep up a travel log to record areas travelled to, travel time, and work hours
- Dress professionally and in accordance with company’s dress code.
