We are recruiting for a Developer - C# and Java (Intermediate to Senior). this role requires a Java Developer that has gained experience within SA Financial Markets, Derivatives, Trading & Capital Markets

Qualifications:

• Tertiary-level qualification in Engineering, Applied Mathematics or Financial Mathematics or equivalent
• Any Java certification is an advantage

 

Experience:

• 3 - 5 years of enterprise Java in an agile environment, and solid experience with supporting technologies (JBoss, JAVA EE, Hibernate/JPA, MsSql, SQL,SVN, GitLab, DevOps, JavaScript)
• Exposure to SA financial markets and understanding of derivatives essential
• General financial instrument valuation analytics required
• Strong Mathematical background

Desirable:

• Experience of Derivatives/ Capital Markets
• Practical exposure and experience of using ITIL, Agile, and SAFe Principles
• Enjoys working in a team and thrives in helping to create a collaborative environment

NB: We are looking for people that have worked within a Trading, Derivatives, Financial Markets and Capital Markets space.  Its not negotiable.  The environment for this position is based on these aspects.  This is someone that has worked in CIB, Investment or Wealth space in a Financial institution or Banking.
