Description
Duties & Responsibilities
- Work directly with clients and Accenture teams to design and implement program strategies for data protection and data privacy, data classification, digital rights management, data masking, encryption, and industry or regulatory compliance
- Responsible for data protection and data privacy risk assessments and creating current state assessment, gap analyses, and strategic implementation roadmaps
- Understanding of data security and protection topics including data encryption, masking, tokenization, key management, data classification and data discovery
- Work alongside our alliance vendors in supporting go to market strategies, solution design, offering development, sales and delivery of their solutions
- Support project opportunities through solution design, proposal development, and staffing plans
- Perform requirements analysis and developing strategies and solutions for information and data governance
- Show an understanding of client business objectives and create optimized information security organizations to meet business needs while reducing risk to revenue
- Conduct tool selection
- Show return on investment and business process improvements for investments in data protection and privacy, security programs and technologies
- Develop and integrate security and privacy metrics and reporting programs for key security, privacy, risk, compliance, and service continuity indicators
- Streamline operations, while maintaining compliance with legal and best-practice,
- Aligning business processes and functional requirements with data protection and privacy
Desired Experience & Qualification
- 5 – 10 years' general security and/or IT audit experience
- At least 5 - 10 years' experience related to at least three of the following: data privacy / risk assessments, sensitive data discovery, security and privacy policy development, data protection or security strategy, general IT, data privacy and security controls development, sensitive data inventory, compliance readiness (i.e GDPR, POPI, PCI, SOX,)
- Protection Mandates) or technical security architecture/design
- Relevant experience with Data Encryption, Data Masking, Key Management, DLP, DRP, Data
- Data discovery and classification or Cloud based Data Protection experience
- At least one current recognized security professional certification such as CISSP, CIPP, CISM, CISA or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor
