Duties & Responsibilities

ROLE

  • CP QSB is the single point of contact for all Sensors within the plant
  • Facilitate containment and pro-actively reduce Series supplier quality related topics
  • Prioritise workload for the Service Provider CP Team
  • Generates the shift handover report and attends the Production meeting
  • Investigates best possible immediate containment action when deemed a potential supplier topic
  • Approves the Sort Action Work instruction
  • Raises a Quality Incident to notify other business locations and the supplier of the defect
  • Willingness to work shifts as the Customer Protection Team ensures 24 hour coverage for Assembly.

Desired Experience & Qualification

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3-5 years Automotive experience, Assembly online or Offline
  • Engineering Degree or Trade Certificate
  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering OR Trade Certificate
  • 5 years within a manufacturing area, preferably Assembly Online/ Offline.
  • Working experience in automotive industry
  • Open to SA Citizens / Permanent Residents
  • Ability to negotiate with process partners internally and agree on problem ownership.
  • Good communication skills - written and verbal.
  • Ability to make and enforce decisions.
  • Ability to apply Quality problem-solving tools, efficiently.
