Duties & Responsibilities
Key responsibilities:
- Financial Planning & Budgeting
- Drive financial & operational performance
- Manage cost & Modelling process
- Profitability analysis
- Prepare variance analysis
- Liaise with corporate treasury centre
- Keep a track record of all Tax, customs and legal risks in the region
- Maintain a strong network with experts across the group to ensure group wide compliance
- Advise management on shaping business decisions in a way that optimises the opportunities that lie in the differences between various country standards

Desired Experience & Qualification
Requirements:
- Qualified CIMA or Chartered Accountant
- Must be a South African citizen
- 8 years minimum relevant experience
- Financial management experience
- Reporting & Controlling experience
- Logistics experience would be given first preference, however open to a multinational background
- Must have extensive East, West and Southern Africa experience - this is non negotiable
- Must be willing to do occasional travel into Africa
- Must be able to deal with senior executives at a cross functional level
