Description
Our client specializes in Electrical Infrastructure Projects and has established themselves as a key and confident role player in Renewable Power Industry. They have provided services for both Solar and Wind Industries within the Renewable Energy market. Currently the have an opportunity for a Construction Manager to assist with the construction of Grid Scale PV Project in Malawi. 6 Mth Contract.
Duties & Responsibilities
Job Experience:
- National Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
- 7 Years’ experience in the construction industry relevant to the electrical infrastructure sector
- Registered Professional Construction Manager (PR.CM) at SACPCMP
- Competency in NEC /FIDIC/JBCC contracts
- Construction regulations
- HIRA
- IRCON
- Environmental Law
- Scaffold Inspector
- Microsoft Office, Projects Candy, Build Smart
Skills Required:
- Extensive exposure in the construction of Grid-Scale PV Projects – 60MW and higher
- Good understanding of electrical infrastructure including standard construction practices
- Create on-site solutions for typical related construction problems and risks.
- Project planning/implementation/ finance / tendering / contractual & commercial / plant, equipment and material
