Description
Maintain and protect new forestation assets together with trust appointed manager and administrator
• Adhere to all environmental, conservation legislation
• Give technical advice in line with NECF Silviculture manual
• Risk/Safety/FSC requirements together with the trust appointed manager and administrator
• Liaise function between ECRDA and Community Trust
• Supervisor and labour development/management
• Monthly administration checks with trust appointed manafer and administrator
Desired Experience & Qualification
Diploma in Forestry
REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
• 1 year Community Forester experience
RECOMMENDED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & QUALITIES
• Proficient in Excel
• Good communication skills
• Ability to communicate in English and Xhosa
• Valid driver’s licence
