Description
My client specialist in the Short-Term Insurance Industry is urgently looking for a Senior Commercial Underwriter who has extensive experience dealing with niche products and all Insurers.
Main purpose of the role is to ensure the delivery of customer service excellence and to process and build relationships with all stakeholders
Duties & Responsibilities
Candidate will be responsible for:
- Securing new business by obtaining client details.
- Approach market for quotes.
- Processing policies
- Renewals
- Amendments
- Cancellations and Confirmations
- Notifications of Interests
- Drawing up Multi-Claimants reports
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum Requirements
- Matric
- Completed Regulatory Exam: Representatives
- Completed Short Term Insurance Certificate (NQF 4)
- Must be registered as a Representative and NOT work under supervision
- Must NOT be debarred with FSCA
- 5 Years Commercial Underwriting experience within a brokerage environment (Non-Negotiable)
- Must be able to process high volumes of policies
- Experience working with niche products and all insurers
