Duties & Responsibilities
This is a remote position.
Client Details:

Role Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the AWS infrastructure where all customer systems are run.
- In charge of the cloud-based infrastructure.
- Building / configuring AWS services.
- Analysing / resolving incidents.
- Continuous improvement of the environment.
- Ensuring that agreed disaster recovery and security requirements are implemented.
- Development of automation tools to ensure rapid deployment and configuration of services.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science or related field
Relevant Skills / Experience:
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Expert in Linux and Windows server management.
- Good understanding of network concepts.
- Hands-on experience in AWS technologies ideally.
- Exposure to security models and best practices.
Advantageous Experience:
- Understanding of the concepts of virtualization and cloud computing
- Experience in configuration of open source components
- Competency in the Hadoop ecosystem
- Experience in scripting and automation
