This vacancy is based at our Bellville office, in Cape Town.

 

ROLE PURPOSE

Accountable for clinical risk management technical training, mentoring and skills development in line with departmental and individual objectives and ensuring that the business processes and system capabilities are aligned to service delivery.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND WORK OUTPUTS

  • Instruct/ Train/ Coach team members/service managers on Products, Systems and Processes
  • Regular engagement with service managers in monthly one on one sessions
  • Identify training needs of team members and draw up training plans in collaboration and support to HRM team leaders.
  • Conduct development programme and provide feedback to team members and managers throughout the process.
  • Responsible for development, implementation and follow up of training plans
  • Annual updating of department process documents and process library.
  • Responsible for up to date, accurate training material that will help employees understand the subject matter.
  • Assessing of the staff
  • Liaise with trainers to ensure that their training material is accurate and continuously updated.
  • Facilitates and manages system enhancements and changes
  • Deliver on service level agreements made with clients and internal and external stakeholders in order to ensure that client expectations are managed
  • Develop and maintain productive and collaborative working relationships with peers and stakeholders
  • Positively influence and participate in change initiatives
  • Continuously develop own expertise in terms of professional, industry and legislation knowledge

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Matric certificate
  • 3-5 years of experience in claims assessing, claims auditing, health risk management and the healthcare
  • 1-2 years operational coaching or training experience
  • Qualification as a Registered Nurse
  • Knowledge of the NHRPL- National Health Reference Price List (Previously known as BHF) and SAMA tariffs is advantageous
  • Computer literacy
  • Sound communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Training or coaching qualifications would be advantageous
  • Applicable registration as required by the Medical Schemes Act (Regulation 15D (1) (d).
  • Thorough knowledge of the operating systems
  • Computer literacy (Email, Word and Excel)
  • The ability to interpret and apply scheme rules correctly
  • Multi-skilled in all areas of claims industry
  • Positive disposition
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the team
