Description
Chef/cook wanted for small lodge near Hazyview. The lodge is comprised of four luxury villas sleeping 8 guests.
The restaurant caters for guests and limited walk-ins.
Candidate will be responsible for preparing all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) as part of a small team and will be expected to work split shifts. Normal hours will be 07:00 to 12:00 and 17:30 to 21:30. Candidate should be prepared to work additional hoursR1 when operations require it.
Due to the nature of the lodge the candidate will be expected to interact with guests - good communications skills are therefor essential.
Previous experience in a luxury lodge or hotel environment required.
The position is live in or out.
Salary R10,000 to R15,000 depending on experience and number of shifts worked. Salary to be linked to a sliding scale based on occupancy with potential to increase with bookings.
