The incumbent will be responsible for managing transactions with customers using cash registers and providing excellent customer service to all customers.

• On the till everyday
• Scanning goods and ensuring pricing is accurate
• Collecting payments wether in cash or credit
• Receiving stock
• Preparing delivery notes
• Customer care
• Teaching clients on products
• Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets
• Redeem stamps and coupons
• Cross-sell products and introduce new ones
• Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
• Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies
• Bag, box or gift-wrap packages
• Handle merchandise returns and exchanges

• A minimum of 2 years work experience as a retail cashier or in a similar role in sales
• Familiarlity with cash registers
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Customer satisfaction-oriented
• Till operator certificate advatageous
