Description
A pharmaceutical manufacturer, providing a dynamic range of products and services is seeking a Business Unit Director who will provide full business unit management of the marketing team, sales team, HC, new business including dotted line responsibility for finance, procurement and the factory
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Job Outputs:
- Implement and execute strategy and action plan in line with portfolio to maximise sales potential
- Profit and loss management and accountability
- Understand and execute, with the Operational Director manufacture capabilities in the business and manage the warehousing
- Interact with key stakeholders such as customers to ensure maximisation of business opportunities and growth
- Take responsibility for entire profit and loss and commercial activities of the business unit
- develop and maintain excellent relationships with key customers
- Identify and implement best practices and encourage innovative ideas and activities
- Conduct gap analysis to identify possible opportunities and initiate research to determine concept or new idea, review, get authorised and implement
- Ensure ongoing portfolio analysis in terms of profitability and subsequent business recommendations
- Measure team competence against job needs analysis

Experience
- Minimum of 5 years in a Senior Sales and Marketing role or overall Business Unit Management
