Description
Position Purpose:
Take ownership of Business Intelligence (BI) and MIS business requirements ensuring that the requirements are optimally designed, developed, tested, implemented and supported.
Take ownership of Business Intelligence (BI) and MIS business requirements ensuring that the requirements are optimally designed, developed, tested, implemented and supported.
Duties & Responsibilities
Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in IT or equivalent
- Business Intelligence Analysis experience is essential
- Knowledge of the Employee Benefits / Retirement Industry and/or previous experience in the financial services industry is advantageous.
- Business intelligence tools and methodologies, and data warehousing design.
- Audit Principles and POPIA implementation
- System project life cycle (Previous Scrum or Kanban experience beneficial)
- Knowledge in the following technologies is advantageous:
- Microsoft SQL Server and SSIS
- Microsoft Reporting Services
- Cognos frameworks and report designer
- DB2 databases
- Data Visualization (Cognos, PowerBI, QlikView)
