You’ve worked in the short term insurance space for some time now with solid exposure to commercial and personal lines and you’re ready to step into an advisor role, here’s your opportunity to join an independent brokerage as a Business Development Manager.
What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it)
You’ll be the go to person for all short term insurance enquiries and questions, you’ll manage client relationships (internally and externally), prepare and lodge quotations, claims, proposals and renewals. You’ll also do group presentations to corporate staff and one on one consultations. In these consultations you will conduct proper needs analysis and offer professional advice while being compliant and ensure you are always up to date with all product changes.
Where you'll be doing it
An independent financial advice brokerage that was founded in 2008 and has scooped up a few awards such as Top Wealth Manager and People’s Choice Top Wealth Manager. They are small and professional while taking pride in what they do and who they hire. They have offices nationally and you’ll be based in the Century City Office.
What you'll need
You’ll be giving advice so a completed degree/diploma and RE 5 are essential as a base and to be successful in this role you need to have gained no less than 5 years’ experience in short term sales and be able to bring over a book of clients. You need to be professional and confident in doing presentations backed with a solid sales track record.
