Duties & Responsibilities

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing the organisations business development ensuring consistent and rapid growth in sales across all channels, responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the day to day management of the business development team.
  • Devising set strategies for driving sales growth across the business.
  • Analysing existing approaches to the development of business and making changes where appropriate.
  • Setting targets for new business development for the business development team, fellow managers and executives.
  • Interviewing and hiring new members of the business development team.
  • Implementing new business initiatives across
  • Working closely with members of the team to generate new business
  • Identifying sales opportunities
  • Setting up meetings with prospective customers to sell the company’s products and services.
  • Implementing sales incentives to drive sales performance within the team.
  • Acting as a key contact for the team and all clients.
  • Forming strategic partnerships with other companies to leverage their existing networks, products and services.
  • Setting tough but achievable revenue targets for the business development managers.
  • Working with the BD team to devise marketing materials and tools to support new and existing.
  • Monitoring customer satisfaction with existing clients to ensure service delivery.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing/Business Management or related
  • Valid Code B Driver’s License and own vehicle
  • Valid RSA ID or Valid work permit

 

Candidate Experience:

  • 3 - 4 years’ experience in related field
  • 3 years’ Managerial experience
  • Prior experience in sales
